About
MacCloud Studio was founded in 2018 by Emily MacCloud, a sculptor and craftsperson trained at the Rhode Island School of Design.
After moving to New York, she built her career working with artists, interior designers, general contractors, and hospitality groups, and that foundation continues to guide our studio today.
Our work has ranged from fabricating sculptural commissions and bespoke furniture to managing restoration teams on fast-paced hospitality projects.

Emily also worked as a sculptor, fabricator, and studio manager for Gaetano Pesce, an experience that deepened her ability to navigate a wide range of materials and contexts.

Since then, our collaborations with Gachot Studios have included projects for clients like Coach and Authentic Hospitality. Highlights include restoration work for Freehand in Nolita, where we renewed Bar Calico, Georgia Room, and the rooftop restaurant Broken Shaker.

Our residential work has included restoring veneer millwork across six floors of a Tribeca townhouse.
We’ve also created murals, faux finishes, and painted surfaces that bring warmth and character to interiors.

This mix of art, design, and construction continues to shape our approach. Every project is guided by the same ethos: thoughtful craft, sustainable choices, and a belief in making things that last.
